Great Vietnamese cooking class
Mar 2017
My wife and I had a wonderful afternoon learning a bit more about Vietnamese cooking and culture. Chef Ha is a very knowledgeable and friendly presenter; the ingredients were all ready to use, fresh, and tasty; and the results tasted great. We thought we had booked in for a 3 hr class, but ended up spending 4 1/2 hrs with Ha including a tour through the local shops at the end. It was great value and a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this class to others.

We all had a great time, I am hearing reports that it has been the best Finance function for years ;-) Many Cocktails were enjoyed by the crew in the pub, think 9pm was the last person standing! Hope to cross paths with you again. Best Wishes, Emma

Attended the class with my 12yo son. We had a great time and learnt skills we will use at home. Was lovely to eat the dumplings at the end of the class. Our dumplings got better looking as we progressed . Would really recommend as a great outing with friends, family or solo. It would also make a great gift.

Such a beautiful gift - The Dumpling Class

A friend took me here as a very special birthday gift. What a delightful experience. Ha is so welcoming and helpful. I now have a much greater respect for the people who make dumplings. Sure they are relatively easy, but very time consuming to get the right size with the right amount of filling. At the end of the class, we enjoyed the dumplings we had made with a glass of champagne (yes the real McCoy- it was French) and some beautifully prepared fruit. I had never (in 60 years) tasted fresh lychees, or star fruit, or dragon fruit. Such a wonderful time at the Otao Kitchen which is very well set up. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.
