Pandan

Pandan (Pandanus,) is a herbaceous tropical plant that grows in Southeast-Asia (see second). It is known as 'fragrant plant' because it has unique sweet aroma. It looks like large grass with upright bright green leaves.
Usage and cultural significance
"From curries to cakes, pandan adds that flavour and sometimes colour to Asian cooking. It pairs well with coconut milk, glutinous rice, lemongrass, palm sugar and turmeric"
