Som Tam- Green Papaya Salad

This refreshing and light salad makes an excellent addition to any Thai meal. Use whatever Asian herbs to your liking.
Ingredients
- 1/6 pc green papaya, julienned
- 30 g carrot, julienned
- 3 pcs cherry tomatoes, halved
- 20 g cabbage, sliced
- 1 tbsp roasted peanuts, crushed
- 6 pcs small dried prawns
- 4 stalks coriander leaves
- 4 stalks mint leaves
- 2 pcs snake beans, sliced in 3cm lengths
- 2-3 tbsp Pkrik Nam Pla
Directions

In a mortar and pestle, add the dried shrimp and pulverize until they are lightly crushed.

2Then add snake beans and carrot and lightly crush.

3Add the cherry tomatoes and crush lightly.

4Add the green papaya, cabbage, phrik nam plaa*, snake beans and macerate lightly with the pestle.

5Remove to a plate and garnish with mint leaves, coriander, and crushed peanuts.
