Rau Ram or know in Australian as a Vietnamese mint is a semi aquatic plant with long upright stems that sprout soft blade-like leaves.
The green leaves have a smooth satiny finish.
The taste of Rau Ram is very similar to coriander with musky taste of citrus and spice.
Usage and cultural significance
Rau Ram is a commonly found accompaniment to the Southeast Asian street food known in the Philippines, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.
